Having done a decent amount of research and absolutely no experience tuning a computer, I decided to follow this link to find the right settings for the CPU Undervolt. I used CineBench and Unigine Superposition as benchmarks for my CPU and GPU respectively. All that aside, after a few weeks I decided to give a go at undervolting my CPU and overclocking my GPU to get a tad more performance out of my system. ( 50ish FPS at 80% resolution on COD) I found a good deal on a refurbished GS75 with the 2080 Max-Q and i7-9750H and the difference was outstanding. Tuned with ThrottleStop and Dragon CenterĪ couple weeks ago I decided to upgrade from my old Omen 1050 TI to something that could run games a lot better than that outdated machine.
